You Are What You...

Watch???

Last year I did a post about "Dennis The Menace" being Jace's all time favorite movie. And to be honest the word "menace" could be used to describe Jace. (In a good way of course)

Well now it's time to do a post about Kayson's all time favorite movie:

Seriously???? This is what he looks like during the ENTIRE movie:

Hmmm...... Which personality will come from this???

Just Whistle While You Work

My boys LOVE (and that's an understatement) going to see Ryan at work. What kid wouldn't??? You get to ride on a fork lift (which Jace calls his tractor) and run around the huge isles without hearing Mom or Dad yell to stop or get put in the seatbelt of shopping carts for not listening. I swear Jace can't wait until he's old enough to work. He gets so hyper when he comes back from "helping" Ryan that he literally will not stop talking the rest of the day! And it continues through the weekend because he helps Ryan wash his dirty truck every Saturday. Isaac loves to spend time there as well. He has to do a few chores, but does it anyway so Ryan will take him on the road for deliveries. Totally worth it for him :) Kayson is only fascinated with the horn on the fork lift. He laughs SO hard whenever it's pushed.

Here's a few pictures:

I guess it's really true what they say; "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life".

Here's Your Proof Mom

Ever heard your Mom say:

"When you have kids, I hope you get one JUST LIKE YOU!!!!" Well....

....it doesn't get any closer than that!

Snip Snip

All 3 boys got their hair cut last Saturday. They were beginning to look like orphans!

Isaac: OH! He looks so much better with his hair cut!

Jace: (for some reason he seemed really tired that day...)

Kayson: he did great for it being his first time!

The stylist showing Kayson her clippers:

Sorry no after pictures :) Maybe I'll remember next time!

1 Fish, 2 Fish, 3 Fish...

We've had a BLAST these last couple of weeks! Isaac is out here again one last time before school starts, and we've taken full advantage of having fun. Yesterday Grandma Lois and Grandpa Jay took all 10 of their grandkids to the water slide! A first for both Jace and Kayson :) At the end of 3 hours of swimming we were exhausted and HUNGRY! The boys slept really good too.

Thank you Gma and Gpa for a wonderful day!!!

Kiddie Spotlights

My friend Andrea got the idea to do "kiddie spotlights" from another blog. I thought it was adorable! So here are my kiddie spotlights:

Kayson a year ago:

Kayson now:

Kayson went from being my baby to my little man these last few months. I can't believe how fast he has grown! From walking to almost running, and babbling non-stop, which is SO cute to listen to. He will say Hi and Da da da, but only when HE wants to. He is very independent, and loves to be outside. He crawls and climbs on top of everything he can. His favorite food is Sweedish Pancakes. He hates ice cream, but will go for popsicles anytime! He loves any type of fruit except bananas. His favorite fruit is watermelon, which the Grandparents have an endless supply of. Unlike his brother Jace, Kayson is tan! He looks like a beach boy for sure and his hair has lightened this summer. He loves it when Mom honks the horn, and when he gets to see Dad at work. He LOVES Jace and laughs SO hard when Jace rolls on him in the bean bag, or sprays water in his face at bathtime. He's very tolerant of Jace, but will throw a small tantrum when Jace doesn't play nice. Oh brothers :)

Jace a year ago:

Jace now:

Jace is the master of all mischief! He is very independent in the way he wants to learn how everything works! (Which he will show Kayson when he figures something out). He does chores like putting the soap in the dishwasher and starting it, and helping me switch laundry and start the washer and dryer, as well as feeding Tator. He loves doing them and I hope it sticks. His favorite food is chicken, and popsicles are his favorite treat. He is getting so grown up, and I can understand almost everything he says. He is fully potty trained and has learned to even put on his underwear by himself. He loves his friends Dominick and Sara and will hold their hands when he goes to nursery on Sunday. Jace LOVES the water! He will help me wash dishes just so he can play in the bubbles. It ends up being a mess sometimes, but always worth it. Jace loves Kayson, but has a hard time sharing with him. It's been a work in progress, but Jace is learning it's ok for brother to play with his toys and vice versa. He starts pre-school this month. Just one more thing that reminds me he's growing!

I'm so thankful for my boys and can't wait to see what adventures they have next :)
