Never Go To Bed Angry...

...unless you're name is Jace. He was having a "push all of moms buttons" day so I eventually sent him to his room. I sat down to cool off my mad temper and then got busy cleaning the house. It wasn't until I realized I WASN'T getting after Jace for anything that I realized he was still in time-out. I walked into his room to find him like this:

Isaac's Visit!

Isaac had spring-break at his school a few weeks ago, and it was SO MUCH FUN to have him here!!! Seriously!!! He did his chores without complaining, he played nicely with his brothers, he did extra chores for money, and he even helped PULL WEEDS without being asked!!! So his reward for all this was a family night where he picked a movie to watch and a treat to eat, then spent the night in his tent with Jace. It was awesome!!! I forgot to take pictures until the last minute, so I'll have to remember to do better next time.

We also had fun with making an ordinary meal special. This was chicken noodle soup with cheese names :)

Can't wait until he comes out again! I've been practicing pancake letters ;)

Kayson's Haircut

Because Kayson looks better with longer hair, my judgement of when to cut it can get ske-whomp-us sometimes. I never had to worry about this with Jace as he looks better with shorter hair. The other day though, I took a picture of Kayson and then immediately took him upstairs to give him a hair cut. I couldn't believe how long I let it get! Take a look for yourself: Before:

Popcorn Popping on my Snowcrab Tree

I love spring! Especially with my Snowcrab tree in full bloom! Jace calls the flowers "popcorn" just like the primary song. I took these pictures last Sunday. Beautiful day!
